Cadillac Serie 62 de 1941
Dalí no sabía conducir, pero adoraba los coches como símbolo «del maquinismo que ha evolucionado el mundo».
Dalí sentía especial predilección por el Cadillac que regaló a su esposa Gala –que habitualmente era la que se sentaba al volante– y del que solo existían seis unidades. Otras dos las tenían el presidente de Estados Unidos Franklin D. Roosevelt y el actor Clark Gable.
El rey del surrealismo pintó en varias ocasiones ese Cadillac. El cuadro más célebre en el que aparece es Automóviles vestidos de 1941, que hoy en día es una de las grandes atracciones del museo Dalí en Figueras.
